New for Autumn 2017. The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA Ireland) is one of the main Irish accountancy bodies with 5,000 members and students. The CPA designation is the most commonly used designation worldwide for professional accountants and the Institute’s qualification enjoys wide international recognition.
There are 2.8 million qualified accountants worldwide and 1 million of them are CPA accountants. So if you want to work here in Ireland or internationally your CPA qualification is recognised in both.

For a fully completed Accounting technician qualification we will award all Formation 1 and 3 exams in Formation 2, leaving you with Information Systems from Formation 2 and the 4 exams in Professional 1 and 4 in Professional 2. The Irish Accountant of the Year 2017 is a CPA, and in 2016, the Irish Accountant of the Year was also a CPA.

Entry Requirements
- Applicants must first confirm their exemptions with CPA Ireland. Students must have successfully completed and passed exams over 50% without compensation of year 1 and 2 of Accounting Technician Course.

Extra Costs
- Cost for single module is €250 per module.
- For anyone that needs to complete Information Systems as well as Professional 1 there will be an extra cost of €200.
- Anyone that has previously completed ATI in Mallow College will be exempt from this fee.
